Readings :

• Lutfar Rahman Khan read out an interesting self composed story about Salina Aka, a teacher in a small village. The story skillfully described the feelings of Salina for Najrul Islam a childhood sweetheart. Everyone commented on the vivid descriptions in the story that drew a clear picture of the little village and its surroundings and the different emotions of Salina when her husband brings home Najrul.

• Ramen Bagchi read a short story called Katzenstein by the Israeli author Etgar Keret. The brilliant story was humorous, witty and sad at the same time. The author talks about being compared to Katzenstein all his life. Katzenstein always achieves where he fails, even in death he loses to Katzenstein who goes to heaven and he to hell.
  

• Shonali Gupta read a self composed short story called Manideepa. The story is about a Manideepa and the huge dilapidated house where she lives. Manideepa came to the house as a new bride but is now living there on her own. It appears that Photiklal and some of his friends are trying to break down the door to turn her out whilst her husband is way. But is this really the case?
